Britney Working On Sixth Album

 POSTED BY Danny

After spending countless hours in the recording studio over the last few weeks, Swedish producer Bloodshy, of Bloodshy and Avant, has confirmed via MySpace that Britney is in the process of recording her sixth studio album.

Britney has been spotted at a studio in Burbank numerous times, including visits in the past week.  She has been accompanied by her former (?) manager Larry Rudolph every time.

Britney also dined out with her long time billionaire friend, George Maloof, last night.  George is the owner of the Palms hotel in Las Vegas, where Britney performed a comeback set in 2003.

Check out the confirmation message by Bloodshy here.  What do you think about this?  Are you ready for a new album?  Sad about the premature death of Blackout?  Leave a comment to let us know what you think!

How Britney’s Getting Fit

 POSTED BY Danny

Driving away from a Bally Total Fitness gym in Culver City, Calif., recently, Britney Spears was smiling from ear to ear — and with good reason. The singer has been sweating up a storm in an attempt to get in shape, and thanks to three-times-a-day workouts and a five-small-meals-a-day diet, Britney, 26, is already on her way to getting back her sexy body.

“We’re very excited to see Britney using our clubs so often and enjoying her workouts,” Bally’s chief marketing officer John Wildman tells OK!. “She’s taking advantage of our personal-training and nutritional programs and getting great results. She’s working extremely hard on both programs.”

Now Brit is working with Bally’s trainer Mark Corlis, an insider tells OK!. “She’s doing really well with him,” the source says. “Mark doesn’t cut Britney any slack. He doesn’t baby her, and that’s why she likes him.”

Britney’s exercise program is called Active Recovery. That’s when you work each muscle group intently for a short period of time until you exhaust it, moving — without resting — from muscle group to muscle group. The mother of two is doing it a couple of times each day, followed by late-night cardio at home.

That final workout is key to Britney’s routine because she’s burning off her last meal before going to sleep.

The junk-food junkie has also taken a new approach to eating. Her five small meals a day have cut her daily total caloric intake down by about 1,000 calories. The good news? She can still eat many of the foods she loves, including pasta and pizza, but in much smaller portions.

And that’s a good thing because OK! has learned that her goal is to go from her current approximate weight of 133 pounds down to 118 over a sensible three months. “Britney carries a lot of muscle, so she is never going to be one of those 100-pound girls,” the source tells OK!.

Rehearsals For How I Met Your Mother Today

 POSTED BY Danny

The back-to-business Britney Spears arrived bright and early to the Fox Studios in Century City on Tuesday for a table read in preparation for her second guest appearance on the CBS sitcom How I Met Your Mother.

Spears headed out around 8:30 am and made a quick stop at Starbucks in Beverly Hills before arriving at Fox.

Spears first appeared on the show in late March playing a receptionist named Abby and will return to the role in an episode titled “Everything Must Go” airing May 12. In the episode, Spears and Barney (Neil Patrick Harris’s character) taunt Ted, played by Josh Radnor, by pretending they’re in a relationship. Barney, who is desperate for a response from Abby pops her a shocking question.

The singer’s first spot on the show earned her positive reviews and brought in the show’s highest ratings yet.

Britney’s Return To “How I Met Your Mother” Confirmed

 POSTED BY Danny

Britney’s official site has confirmed the news of her return to the comedy:

“Brit’s guest appearance on “How I Met Your Mother” went so well last month that she’s going back for seconds! Yep, yep, the date is TBD — but it is confirmed that our fair lady will be reprising her holy role as a receptionist in the coming weeks. Stay tuned for more info!”

I really hate the way they’re updating her site these days, I wish they’d find someone else to update it, with a less annoying style of writing!

Britney Hires Help

 POSTED BY Danny

If you think that blonde on the treadmill next to you looks just like Britney Spears, you might be right.

The 26-year-old pop star has become a regular at two Bally Total Fitness gyms in Los Angeles, and has taken on the company’s top fitness and nutrition experts as her personal coaches, Bally said Thursday.

“We are training Britney Spears,” John Wildman, the company’s chief marketing officer, told The Associated Press. “Britney is a regular active member of Bally and is working with our top two people. … Britney is their only client.”

Spears has been working out up to three times a day for the past three weeks, Wildman said, adding that her on-again manager, Larry Rudolph, arranged the relationship.

The attention that constantly surrounds Spears is good for the fitness chain, Wildman said.

“It brings visibility to what we think is a very unique and proprietary service offering that we have,” he said. “We hope to see her through to reaching her fitness goals.”

Britney Visits Vocal Coach

 POSTED BY Danny

More exciting news, Britney visited a voice coach this morning!  Apparently it’s the same one that Paris Hilton used to record her album back in 2005.

Who knows what’s going on… Larry Rudolph is denying anything major is happening, but all the signs say otherwise.  I guess we’ll just have to wait and see…

Britney In The Studio Just For “Fun”

 POSTED BY Danny

Britney Spears returned to the recording studio this week with former manager Larry Rudolph.

“We went into the studio, but it was just for fun – nothing more,” Rudolph tells Usmagazine.com of their visits to a studio in Burbank, CA Monday and Tuesday.

Spears, 26, has not been in a recording studio for the past year, a source tells Us.

“She just wanted to go in and tinker around,” the source says. “She sat at a piano and got some ideas. She played the piano and sang a bit. She enjoyed herself.”

Spears played old and new tunes, the source says, adding, “she wanted to go in as a way to get her creativity going. It was a really positive experience for her.”

Spears and Rudolph, who produces MTV’s Rock the Cradle, “are not at the stage where they are talking business yet,” nor is this studio visit the start of a new project, the source says.

Earlier this month, Rudolph – who is credited for discovering Spears and managing her career for 9 years – told Us that she is on the “right path.”

Britney Wants Her Own Children’s Clothing Line

 POSTED BY Danny

Britney Spears may have had shopping for little sister Jamie Lynn on the top of her agenda while visiting designer Christian Audigier at the Ed Hardy offices yesterday, but there was definitely business at hand.

“She wants to work on a clothing line with Christian,” says Ed Hardy representative Nicole Irving, who adds, “it was a closed door meeting, but we will say that they are planning to do a children’s clothing line.”

Spears sought out the former Von Dutch designer specifically to discuss the project, seeking his “flair on the line.” Irving explains, “I know the one thing she stressed, she loves and really respects Christian as a designer.”

As for the pop star, who spent the morning with her sons Jayden and Preston, Irving describes her as “just really warm and in good spirits.”

Britney Undergoing “Rehab” On Her Injured Knee

Larry Rudolph was on the Ryan Seacrest show today to talk about Britney and his new reality show.  Commenting on the injury on her knee she got while shooting the “Outrageous” video back in 2004 he said, “she’s got rehab on her knee that she’s working on”.

Larry Rudolph: “Britney Will Make The Biggest Comeback In History”

 POSTED BY Danny

britneyapr02.jpgLarry Rudolph, the one time manager of Britney Spears who she famously ditched and publically blamed for pushing her into rehab, is speaking out about his newly mended relationship with the singer.

In a new interview with Extra, Rudolph reveals he hadn’t seen Britney in more than a year–until this past week. Larry paid a visit to his former client, who he says appears happier than ever.

“After spending a few days with her this past week, we didn’t talk about anything professional. I just sat and talked with her. I think she’s doing great. Her father is doing a great job with her and she’s in a great place right now.”

As for a Britney comeback, Rudolph says, “People love her. They really love her. People understand what she’s been through at this point. People want to see her come back. I think she’ll get it together. And I think she’ll have a huge career again. I think she’s going to make the biggest comeback in history.”

If loyalty counts for anything in the entertainment business, Rudolph wins the prize. But Britney’s one-time manager has a lot more on his plate these days than the recovering pop star.

Rudolph is set to debut his own reality TV show, Rock the Cradle, which premieres April 3 on MTV. The show is centered around the children of legendary music icons who battle it out on stage.

But Rudolph says don’t expect another American Idol. “Each week is going to be different,” he says. “The first week is going to be–They have to sing a song that best represents their relationship with their parents, which is very interesting.”

Larry Rudolph Confirms He’s Met With Britney

 POSTED BY Danny

Britney Spears’ former manager Larry Rudolph confirms to Usmagazine.com that he has met the singer and says she’s “doing great.

“I have spent time with her, and she is on the right path because she has people around her who really care about her well-being,” Rudolph said.

He would not comment further, explaining, “this isn’t the time to talk business. This is a time for healing.”

Last week, a source tells Us that Spears met with Rudolph, who is credited for discovering her and managing her career for 9 years. (They stopped talking last February after she blamed him for forcing her into rehab.)

“People close to Britney know that Larry is the best person for her,” a friend of the Spears family told Us. “He’s the man who can get her back on the right track career-wise.”

Rudolph is currently producing the MTV show Rock the Cradle, which debuts April 3.

Larry Rudolph Will Be On Tomorrow’s Access Hollywood

 POSTED BY Danny

Fresh off her successful appearance on CBS’s “How I Met Your Mother,” there is yet another sign Britney Spears could be returning to top of her game. The pop star has reunited with her former manager, Larry Rudolph.

“It’s true,” a source close to Britney told E! News. “They are working together.”

Britney and Larry had a rollercoaster of a professional relationship that ended with Britney publicly blaming him for pressuring her to enter rehab, according E!.

Larry is credited with taking Britney from just a small-town former-Disney actor and turning her into the world famous pop star that she is.

The duo, who worked together for almost nine years, parted ways around the time Britney married now ex-husband, Kevin Federline.

Jamie Spears, Britney father and co-conservator, has been an outspoken supporter of Larry, according to E!. It is not known if Jamie was involved in the reunion of Britney and her former manager.

Tune into Access Hollywood Wednesday for a sit-down with Larry Rudolph, where he talks about Britney and his new MTV reality show “Rock The Cradle.”

Britney Reunited With Former Manager Larry Rudolph?

 POSTED BY Danny

As Britney Spears continues to strive to get her personal and professional lives back in order, OK! has learned she’s turned to a familiar face for help — former manager Larry Rudolph. Though the pair had parted company a year ago, sources confirm exclusively to OK! that the “Toxic” songstress has once again been taken under Larry’s wing.

Larry and Brit share a long and bumpy history. He was the visionary who discovered the young star Britney and shepherded her career from teen pop tart to international superstar. And when her life began to spiral dangerously out of control in the weeks and months following her Oct. 2006 divorce from Kevin Federline, it was Larry who Britney’s parents, Jamie and Lynne Spears, turned to for help getting her into rehab.

After her brief stint at the Promises clinic in Malibu, Brit went public with her ill-feelings toward Larry, chastising him on camera in a bizarre, disjointed rant, for what she viewed as siding with her folks against her.

However, Brit’s dad has always been open about his positive feelings toward Larry, even publicly thanking Larry for his efforts. And now Jamie, who has continued to think the world of Larry both as a manager and as a friend who has Britney’s best interests at heart, has finally convinced Britney to let him take over the reins of her recently resurgent career.

Fabolous Talks About Working On Britney’s “New Album”

 POSTED BY Danny

Hip-hop star Fabolous is helping Britney Spears get her pop career back on track - he’s recorded a song for her forthcoming album. The Trade It All rapper was recently called into the studio to record his part of the song, but admits he was a little disappointed when he found out Spears wasn’t going to be attending the session herself.

He tells MTV.com, “I didn’t get to kick it with (Spears), but the people from her record label was on top of that…”

And after all her personal troubles at the start of 2008, Fabolous hopes she will soon be back to her best: “I don’t know what condition Britney is in right now. Hopefully - more power to her - she’ll get in a better space and position. Somebody needs to sit her down, let her know what the deal is.”

Spears has since returned to work for the first time since her mental breakdowns in January - on Monday she was spotted at Hollywood’s Alleycat Recording Studio, the same day her cameo appearance on How I Met Your Mother aired on CBS to glowing reviews.

He recently recorded vocals for a remix of “Break The Ice”, but Britney was recording yesterday too… so who knows what this is all for! It’s exciting though…
