According to  E! Online, Britney’s perfume brand was the biggest selling in 2007 among all the other celebrity perfumes.

The scents are reported to have earned a total of $84 million for Elizabeth Arden in the last year alone!

Good news BRITNEY fans! “The Insider” has just confirmed that the singer turned special guest star will be back to reprise her role as Abby on “How I Met Your Mother” for their May 12 episode on CBS. Production begins today.

The synopsis of the episode, “Everything Must Go,” was released by 20th Century Fox: “Barney and Abby realize that they have one thing in common, their mutual hatred of Ted. The new ‘couple’ decides to go to the bar to flaunt their new relationship in Ted’s face. Desperate to get a rise out of his former pal, Barney pops a surprising question to Abby. ”

Executive Producer CRAIG THOMAS says he is “thrilled” to have Britney back. “We’re all so thrilled to have Britney joining us once again. And just to head it off at the pass this time around: ‘Yes, Mom, Britney’s very nice and no, I can’t get her autograph for you.’ ”

“Break The Ice” falls two places to #17 in the official UK singles chart, while “Piece Of Me” falls 7 places to #47.

In the official albums chart, “Blackout” re-enters the top 20, rising 6 places to #19!

Britney’s last single “Piece Of Me” has finally been certified platinum by the RIAA. This means that over one million units of the song have been shipped in the US!

“Break The Ice” climbs 8 places this week to #15 in the official UK singles chart after the physical release.  Unfortunately, this is Britney’s lowest charting single to date in the UK, after “I Love Rock ‘N’ Roll” peaked at #13 back in 2002.

On a more positive note, “Blackout” shoots up 18 places to #25 this week in the official albums chart.

The “Break The Ice” CD single was released today in the UK so don’t forget to buy it or download the single off iTunes or another legal download site.

Considering the #23 position in the singles chart based on downloads, I’m guessing Britney will just about make the top 10 this week.

“Break The Ice” rises 2 places to #23 in the official singles chart, while “Piece Of Me” falls out of the top 40 to #42 after a good run.

In the official album chart, “Blackout” rises 13 places to #43 this week.

“Break The Ice” climbs 11 places to #25 (based on digital downloads) while “Piece Of Me” falls 6 places this week in the official UK singles chart.  The “Break The Ice” single is still set for release on April 14th.

In the official album chart, “Blackout” is down 4 places to #56.

“Break The Ice” enters the official UK top 40 singles chart at #36 this week, based on download sales alone.  The physical CD single is still set for release on April 14th.

“Piece Of Me” is still hanging on, it’s at #31 this week.

In the album chart, “Blackout” has risen a few places to #53.

Britney’s latest single “Break The Ice” has already been in heavy rotation on UK music channels and radio stations since last week.  The video continues to climb up the airplay charts on many channels.

The CD single will be available to buy on April 14th.  It will apparently only consist of a 2-track CD (again).  Nice to see Jive Records making such an effort…

The first single off Britney’s latest album, “Gimme More”, has just been certified platinum in the USA by the RIAA! Amazing considering the lack of promotion.

“Piece Of Me” has also just been certified gold!

“Piece Of Me” has fallen another place to #8 in the official singles chart.

In the album chart, “Blackout” falls 9 places to #29.

A couple of people have asked me this, and it’s a tricky one to answer.

The album has reportedly now sold over 1.6 million copies.  Bear in mind that this figure doesn’t count the sales in all countries, just the majority.  Therefore, the exact number is more than likely quite a bit higher than 1.6 million.

“Piece Of Me” is still doing well in the official singles chart, it fell 1 place this week to #7.

“Blackout” continues to climb the official album chart.  It has risen 5 places this week and is now at #20!

“Piece Of Me” falls 3 places this week to #6 in the official UK singles chart.  “Gimme More” falls 3 places to #38.

Meanwhile, “Blackout” continues to climb in the official album chart; it jumped 3 spots this week to #25!

“Piece Of Me” falls 1 place in the singles chart to #3 this week, while “Gimme More” also falls 1 place to #35.

“Blackout” has climbed 13 places this week in the official album chart and is now at #28.

On a side note, “Piece Of Me” is still #1 in Ireland!

“Piece Of Me” has risen 17 places in the official singles chart and is now #2 in the UK, the CD single having been released last Monday. The song has a higher peak than the last single, “Gimme More”, which peaked at #3 in the same chart.

Talking about “Gimme More”, it’s risen 11 places to #34 this week, after 11 weeks on the chart!

In the official album chart, “Blackout” has risen 17 places to #41!  Hopefull it’ll be back in the top 40 by next week!

According to today’s midweek chart update, “Piece Of Me” is set for a #2 position.  It’s sold 13.2k so far, with the #1, Basshunter, selling 22k.  Soulja Boy is less than 1k behind Britney, so hopefully they don’t overtake her!

I seriously don’t know how Basshunter is #1!  Who buys that crap?!

Britney’s latest single, “Piece Of Me”, has rocketed to the top of the Irish singles chart!

The CD single was released last Friday, and the song has entered the official chart at #1, making this her 7th Irish #1 hit.
