Britney in the studio is always a good thing. And boy she looks nice in these pictures. And she’s drinking a Coke. Like Coke to.

prem

Yeah MIMI, I think it’s for her tour too…Anyone knows who is the confirmed director/choreographer for her tour? Andre, Wade or Jamie?

Comment by prem — Tuesday, January 6, 2009 @ 6:25 am

sam

im not having a good feeling about this tour….its too soo. hardly 2 monthz left n she doesnt even hav a confirmed chroeographer. this would be the last stop for britney to prove that shez still an excellent performer because we all knw there was nothing soo special bout her promo tour! i think if the tour wudve been in may or june that wudve been good 4 her! wut do u guys think hit bak!!!!

Comment by sam — Tuesday, January 6, 2009 @ 11:11 am

Diego

U make a gud point sam. Andre and wade did drop brit at a very crucial time..her dad has got to go. He saved her and got her bak and we wil always be grateful to him for that but its obviously causing way too many problems for brit and he has to go. Jamie king is apparently confirmed as tour director and he did madonna..celine dion and spice girls tour so a good show will be put on im sure. Just a choreographer now..i hope her team has it all sorted for this tour. They havnt let us down so ya lets just be positive. I think we all know that brit wants and xpects greatness and wont settle for any less so i wuldnt worry too much

Comment by Diego — Tuesday, January 6, 2009 @ 5:52 pm

Diego

And am i like the only person that liked her promo tour? I thought it was great seeing her out there lyk that again. She did awesome and looked like she was having fun. Anyway…

Comment by Diego — Tuesday, January 6, 2009 @ 5:54 pm

Diego

Jamie king could be the choreographer as well. But i doubt that cos she has been auditioning choreographers according 2 reports. U just neva know wen its comes to britneys world

Jay B.

I think it’s amazing how WE the fans have managed to make Womanizer and the album Circus worlwide smash hits.

HOWEVER, i w would like all fans to get behind Britney’s killer new track Circus. PLZ request it at your local radio stations, legally download it and rember to pick a copy of the single when it hits shelves.

2nd February: Official UK Download Release
16th February: UK Physical Release

ALSO remember to vote and request the HOT video on music channels and purchase the video on ITUNES. Lets continue Britney’s hit streak!!!!

Following on from Jay B:

UK chart update:

Womanizer spends its 9th week in the top 20, and re-enters the top 10 going up 2 to #9! Thats amazing, I cant believe how strong this song still is…i think its unfortunate that the amazing Circus is being overshadowed by this song! as much as i love it, im suprised its STILL huge, FIVE MONTHS on…thats virtually unheard of, isnt it?

Circus is still falling on the album charts, though went up 3 places this week and re-entered the top 20 to #18.

We should be very proud of ourselves and our girl Britney – shall we just cast our minds back to this time last year when we were fearing for her life? Hasnt she come far…

I have to agree with Jay B. We have to make Circus single as huge a hit as Womanizer! Circus is an amazing track with an astonishing video..It deserves nothing but #1. Let’s buy the single, vote for it on our local radio stations, anything….Let’s make it #1!

And I think Diego’s right, it has been so long since we’ve seen Britney rocking the stage after her infamous 2007 VMA appearance. She’s back to doing what she does best…performing. But sam has a point too, yeah, she’s not back to her 2001/2002 self, but with Jamie King as director and possibly choreographer, I think Britney will be in top form for her world tour!

Cheers JayB for confirming the Circus UK release date – i’m going to keep requesting at my local radio station so it gets on their Top 7 @ 7 list. Womaniser is currently at no.6 .
Other UK chart news !! Womaniser climbed into the top ten again rising from #11 to #9 happy days !!

P.S. its good that all the regulars are coming back here to leave interesting and valid comments. I dont think much of breatheheavy no more… lots of negativity there

Guys, I’m a little worried….What they’re saying, is it true? That Britney did not attend early dance rehearsals for her world tour coz she’s embarassed at Wade coz she can’t dance like how she used to…

It’s a little far-fetched if you ask me. As far as we’re concerned, Britney’s dying to get back on stage!

FAVORITE TRACKS
———————-
Kill The Lights
Circus
If U Seek Amy
Shattered Glass

OTHER TRACKS
——————
Mannequin
Blur
Radar
Unusual You

Everything else I think is Ok. I’m not a fan of Mmm Papi. I really don’t like that song. I tried to like it but I can’t.

BEST BONUS TRACK
————————
Quicksand (Lady GaGa wrote an amazing song from the background vocals to the lyrics love every detail of dat song)

MY BABY – In my opinion is Britney’s best vocally

Diego Amnesia is on the U.K. and Japan Album (I think)

JettaJameson

Great list breakdown Charles. I think mine would be pretty dang close to that. Let’s see:

Love: Unusual You, Womanizer, Phonography, Shattered Glass, If U Seek Amy, Amnesia, Kill The Lights, Circus, Out From Under, Mannequin, Lace & Leather, Radar, Trouble

Tolerate: Blur, Quicksand, Rock Me In, Rock Boy

Skip: My Baby, Mmm Papi

Comment by JettaJameson — Wednesday, January 7, 2009 @ 8:25 pm

Charles

dont get me wrong, i like them all, but my baby is a tad too sickly after a while, and trouble gets a little tedious. Rock Boy also. i think Mmm Papi needs a specific taste to be liked, haha. i LOVE it, its just so fun and joky…reminds me a lot of Rogue Traders, and i like them.

This is just on song value, not the quality of voice or anything.

Comment by Charles — Wednesday, January 7, 2009 @ 9:17 pm

LOL Charles! Trouble gets a little tedious?? Haha….actually, I feel the same too. And yeah JetteJameson, I skip Mmm Papi too. Maybe this song is made to appeal an eastern crowd. I dunno….i still don’t seem to like it.

Haven’t heard Rock Boy or Quicksand yet – Lady gaga is amazing her Just Dance single is shooting up the UK charts

Diego

Mmm papi is kinda 1 of my favs. I didnt want it to be haha but its veri catchy…dig it

Comment by Diego — Thursday, January 8, 2009 @ 5:41 pm

JettaJameson

Mmm Papi is just annoying to me. I don’t think it’s catchy at all. It’s a step backward. It sounds like it should have been on the Britney album right after Anticipating, LOL. It’s almost as annoying as Early Mornin, From The Bottom of My Broken Heart and E-Mail My Heart. I think those 4 are her weakest songs.

Comment by JettaJameson — Thursday, January 8, 2009 @ 10:34 pm

Diego

Love mmm papi! Haha
