Official “Circus” Cover & Tracklisting

 POSTED BY Danny

Official Circus Tracklist:
1. Womanizer
2. Circus
3. Out From Under
4. Kill The Lights
5. Shattered Glass
6. If U Seek Amy
7. Unusual You
8. Blur
9. Mmm Papi
10. Mannequin
11. Lace and Leather
12. My Baby
Bonus Track:
13. Radar

Some of the songs sound really interesting, but I have to say I’m not feeling the cover at all.  I was expecting something better this time after the Blackout cover.  Oh well, at least Mannequin (the song from the dance rehearsal video in September) made the cut!

Listen: “Womanizer” (Kaskade Remix)

 POSTED BY Danny

Here’s a brand new official remix of “Womanizer”, done by Kaskade.  This remix will appear on the European/Australian maxi CD single.  This isn’t the full version, but it’s the majority of it.

I don’t really like it that much, but it’s better than the other remix from the CD single (Junior’s Electro Mix).

Britney Shooting Two New Music Videos Back To Back

 POSTED BY Danny

According to popular music review website PopJustice, Britney has recorded / is going to record two new music videos back to back.  She is reportedly shooting a video for the album’s title track, “Circus”, and a ballad.

They go on to say that her record label “weren’t sure which order the singles would be released in.”

Happy Birthday “Blackout”!

 POSTED BY Danny

Britney’s fifth studio album, “Blackout”, was released exactly a year ago today in the states, October 30th 2007.

I can’t believe how far she’s come in the past year and can’t wait to see if she can top the last album with “Circus”.  Only 5 weeks to go now!

Anyway, after a year of enjoying Blackout, what’s your favourite song?  Were you happy with the singles choices?  Is it your favourite album so far?  Leave your comments and opinions!

Guy Sigsworth, who produced ‘”Everytime”, has done two ballads on the album.

“Womanizer” Billboard Hot 100 Update

 POSTED BY Danny

I only usually do chart updates for the UK, but seen as the single hasn’t been released yet, the US charts will have to get an update!

This is the third week on the chart, and “Womanizer” falls to #5 on the Billboard Hot 100.

It opened at #1 before falling to #4 and now down one more spot to #5.

It’s doing really well so far, it’s proving to be a lot more popular than “Gimme More” last year.

Britney’s Dancers Spotted Rehearsing/Filming

 POSTED BY Danny

Britney’s dancers were spotted in full dress/costume yesterday in Los Angeles.  Britney wasn’t photographed with them, but the dancers were spotted in their attire talking in the street.

Britney’s brother was there, too.

The sighting has sparked rumours that Britney has filmed a music for her next single, but this could be for anything… a dress rehearsal for example.

I’m still hoping for a performance at the EMA’s next week in Liverpool!

Britney Agrees To Permanent Conservatorship

 POSTED BY Danny

Lawyers in the Britney Spears conservatorship case have just asked the court commissioner to make her conservatorship permanent. And the judge said she would grant the request.

The conservatorship was scheduled to end on December 31.

Sources say one reason why Brit & Co. wanted to extend the conservatorship is that it makes it easier for her to regain custody of her kids — the family law commissioner will feel more comfortable giving her added face time if there is a safety net.

The conservators will now also be responsible for handling her business affairs and career opportunities.

As for why they suddenly asked for a permanent conservatorship — we’re told the commish doesn’t want to keep extending temporary power…that it makes more sense to make the conservatorship permanent and then just lift it when Brit is safe and sound.

Under the permanent conservatorship a medical team will oversee Britney’s career to make sure what she does will not compromise her mental health.

The commish said, “The conservatorship is necessary and appropriate for the complexity of financial and business entities and her being susceptible to undue influence.”

Britney Expected To Perform At The EMA’s

 POSTED BY Danny

Britney Spears is expected to perform at the MTV Europe Music Awards in Liverpool next month.

The singer, who releases her new album ‘Circus’ on December 2nd, is nominated for Best Act Ever at the ceremony on November 6th.

An appearance would cap a phenomenal end to the year for Spears who last month won three prizes at the MTV Video Music Awards in Los Angeles.

Speaking to the Mirror, a source said: “Given Britney’s comeback there would be no one better to attend the awards.”

“She’s probably the biggest pop star in the world and after shining at the VMAs Britney would definitely spice things up in Liverpool.

“There is a hope she will perform, but if not she could just present an award - it’s all very exciting.”

Spears is currently number one on the US singles charts for the first time since her 1999 debut ‘Baby One More Time’.

Bit of a confusing article… MTV quoting the Daily Mirror? Oh well, we’ll see in two weeks whether it happens or not!
