As a long time supporter of Britney Spears, I actually do NOT want Britney to perform at this years VMA’s. I don’t think her body is fully back in shape especially not ready for the stage. And secondly i think she needs to pace herself and should not rush into comeback performance just for the sake of it.

I really want Britney to make a massive comeback on stage when she is fully back to her best. I just feel like currently she going through the recovery process and just needs a few more months to be FULLY ready.

With her comeback performance, i want it to be well thought out and planned, with high production value, brilliant choreography and maybe special effects. But most importantly Britney MUST have her body back in shape and firmly toned, also her costume, hair and make up should be emaculate.
That’s when she can show the whole world that Britney Spears is back!!

I just think the VMA’s are too soon for her, why doesn’t she wait for next years Grammy’s to make her grand return. Also it’ll be nearer to the release of her sixth studio album.

I seem to disagree. Britney’s body couldn’t look any better. And for everyone who knows Britney, she doesn’t do anything for the SAKE of Doing it. If she weren’t passionate about performing at the VMA’s she simply would not be doing it. SHE is no puppet being pushed to do anything. What Britney wants she does, and if she wants to perform at the VMA’s NO ONE, not Lary, not the label can Tell her she can’t.

The woman has been recording a new album for MONTHS now, she has gotten help for a mental disorder, gotten her body back, and visitation with her kids. If performing at the VMA’s is Britney’s way of saying I”M BACK, no one has a right to say she’s not ready. This girl was born a performer, she DOES NOT need to practice what comes naturally to her. She is a professional and will dedicate time and effort rest assured to deliver us an awesome performance with hot choreography, stage props, the works, though.

The VMA’’s will be Britney’s night this year as they always are. And believe me this has been well thought out. Just because we don’t have a behind the scenes look into her making the comeback doesn’t mean her team hasn’t been planning this for a while cause they have you just didn’t know.

I disagree a bit wit vanessa. She releasd blackout just 4 the sake of it and bcos the label pushed her 2. Hence blackout just bein pushed out ther and left 2 do its own thing. I disagree with D. Britney did NOT release Blackout for the sake of it, her LABEL did. If it were up to Britney, Blackout would not have been released, so don’t assume Britney was behind it. It is extremely wrong of you D to hold someone who was incapable of showering or sleeping to take control of her career and the decisions made when she couldn’t take care of herself. AND you, MY FRIEND, will be one of those people that I will simply say, “I TOD YOU SO” after her VMA performance, with regards to wether she was ready or not. Guys, her body is there…but not quite there. You know what I mean..? The world knows britney to be the sexiest female performer with those abs she used to have in 2001. I know she’s getting there..she’s slim and all, but as Jay B said, she has yet to have the “stage body”…I’m sure it won’t take long, maybe like another 2 months or something. It’ll be even better if Britney performs towards the end of the year when her new album drops. In that way, her body will be back, she would have gained enough confidence to rock the stage and just in time for the 1st single to hit radio airwaves.

But, I’m not putting my hopes up too high guys. It probably is like what Danny said – a rumour. Although i soooooooo hope she does perform! Lol!!!

I completely agree with you mimi.I really hate when people say she’s not thin enough to perform who cares.I care about her performance not about her body.If she gives a great performance no one would care about her body and in my opinion i think she looks great.So we’ll have to see what happens either way i will support her.

i’m not expecting a lot from britney like last time, just in case i’m disappointed. i’ll be watching the vma’s regardless of who’s performin though.

I think all this talk of Britney performing is fact not a rumour. I hope she does a great performance. I believe it could be too soon but this past six months Britney seems to be back to her old self. There is no doubt that the song will be killer but does Britney have the performance in her ? – the one that gets everyone talking ? We shall see.
Also Britney’s promo vid for Madonna’s Sticky & Sweet tour is just the perfect taster for us . This new album of her’s is gonna be huge !!
