Britney’s New Album Set For Mid-December Release

Britney Spears is definitely in the studio and working on a new album.

Yes, despite unclear signals from various gossip sites, I am told that Spears is working on a CD that Jive is expecting to get out by mid-December.

The album is a follow-up to “Blackout,” the Spears album that tanked quickly after its release in late 2007.

How different will the new CD be from “Blackout”? Well, not a lot, really. Many of the same producers and writers will be on this one, too. The main difference will be that this time Spears won’t first self-destruct on the MTV Vide Music Awards and then have a public nervous breakdown while the album is being released.

One reason for the big push to put Britney back in stores is that she owes Jive a lot of money. If they can finish the album and get it out without incident, my guess is that Spears will go out on tour in 2009. Paparazzi, bloggers, this is advance notice to get ready!

See I knew it first single has 2 be out bt october. I hope 2 singles are released so we can have a real reason and inspiration 2 actual but the album. If she released 2 good songs b4 da album drops it will boost sells. I hope there is some kind of PROMO TOUR b4 da main worldwide tour or whateva kind of tour it is

~O~ I think the new album should be titled “BRITNEY: THE RESURRECTION” or “METAMORPHOSIS” or sumthing like “(IN CASE U 4GOT) THE NAMES BRITNEY” or “DARK TIMES”. I don’t kno sumthing that recognizes her change and her darkest hours

I don’t think she’d want to do a world tour right now when she just got more visitation back with her kids. She IS still under the conservatorship, which means she’s still recovering from her problems. I’m predicting a smaller tour, but at least bigger than House of Blues. I hope this CD is as good as Blackout!

Blackout is already Britney’s finest album, the best of her career. I think this new album will be a secuel to Blackout. It’ll be a urban, hip hop, club album. And that is great! I love Blackout. I listen to it everyday (well… actually, I’m cheating on Britney with Madonna’s Hard Candy. lol).

I’m from Argentina, and Britney never came here (or any country from South America) to promote her album. But, maybe… SOMEDAY…

I can’t wait to listen to this new album!
Britney’s gonna BREAK THE ICE, we are all gonna listen to her new album like if we were TOY SOLDIERs. I Know it’s gonna be STRONGER than BLACKOUT, it will be OUTRAGEOUS!. She’ll inTOXICate us with a new sound, and I’m sure this new album will be pure SATISFACTION.
She’ll be back on top. And we will all say “Yeah, she DID IT AGAIN”.

I bet the new album will be named something like the opposite of Blackout, seeing how she is getting back to where she needed to be… the whole purpose of blackout was to get her name back out there in her industry… instead of being on the covers of magazines every week…

It did not fucking tank, it tanked if the sky is blue…at night, it sold freaking 1million copies in 2 months, It was a critical success, it had people dancing, reached the top of many dance charts, got to top 2 in america in its first week, it was not a flop!!!
No way will I hear it tanked…excited about the new record for sure!

IT DID FUCKIN TANK AND SO FAST! THIS IS HER 1ST ALBUM DAT DIDN’T EVEN GO PLATINUM. EVERY SONG ON DERE WAS DA SHIT BUT EVERYONE NEEDS 2 ADMIT DIS IS DA WORST SELLING ALBUM OF HER CAREER. IT WOULD HAVE BEEN BETTER IF SHE PROMOTED OR WAITED TIL SHE WAS IN A BETTER MIND STATE TO RELEASE IT. BUT DATS ALL IN THE PASS. “BLACKOUT DID EXACTLY WHAT THE TITLED SAID BLACKED OUT OF THE CHARTS. IT REFLECTED HER DARK DAYS AND IT SHOWED BY THE SALES #’S.
