Britney To Shoot Video Footage For Madonna This Week
Britney Spears will team up with Madonna – virtually – during the singer’s upcoming Sticky & Sweet tour.
“Britney is going to film something for Madonna’s show in the next week or so,” Madonna’s rep, Liz Rosenberg, tells PEOPLE.
As for details about what they will be doing – and where it will be filmed – Rosenberg says, “I don’t know. It’s a secret.”
Contrary to published reports, Spears is not in New York to film the video segments, nor has she already shot anything.
This isn’t the first collaboration for the pop stars. The two famously teamed up during the 2003 MTV Video Music Awards, sharing the stage – and one memorable kiss – during the broadcast.
Spears is not expected to perform with Madonna, whose tour kicks off in Wales next month. The U.S. leg of her tour starts Oct. 4 in East Rutherford, N.J.

i am not sure if its a good idea. but the more i think about it, the more i like it. i mean they are both pop icons and i think people are going to talk more about britneys video than about madonnas performance – if the video is going to be awsome. i hope madonna is not just using britney to get publicity and to disctract from her marriage problem-rumors. because if she is ‘abusing’ britney we should boycott madonna!!
is anyone going to see the concert? you should reallly tell us what is happening in the britney video. are they reallly performing gimme more/human nature??
i am excited. and i think she is going to look so hot!! and i mean she got so great reviews for her appearances in how i met your mother so i think this is going to be another step in getting a more positive image
because when her new album is going to be released people will talk about the madonna tour video and how i met your mother and how she recovered and not (so much) about her break down

Anything that puts Britney on the right track is a good thing. I believe this does. She needs to put herself out there like she did with the How I Met Your Mother episodes. Show that she’s still got it. And will have it for a long time. She is a pop icon and on her way to being a pop legend.
