Collector's Edition Of Blackout To Be Released Next Year

Written by admin. Posted in Blackout

The Spanish Promusic website, which is the alliance between all the major record labels, has released a preliminary calendar of 2008 music releases, including a rerelease of Blackout, pencilled in for release on June 17th.

Here is my translation from Spanish:

“Special edition of Britney’s latest critically acclaimed album “Blackout”. Includes the original album plus 4 new tracks, remixes and a DVD about the  production of the most risky project in Britney’s career make up this collectors boxset. June 17th 2008.”

That would be cool, every cool. Kinda makes me wonder though why a collector’s edition is released so long after the album. I’m not gonna get my hopes up. It’s so far away plus last time I heard about a collector’s edition it was that Target one that I never found or heard anything about other then one little article. Did it even exist?

I wish they’d release it like… tomorrow!! Lol. I really want it. =( I have the Japanese edition of Blackout with the bonus tracks. I suppose that’ll have to tide me over.

In fact, i hope that the 4 new tracks are not the bonus track in Japanese edition.
I want 4 real new song, such as “Voodoo” & “Red Carpet” which are leaked as a instrumental version on YouTube…

OMG!! I seriously cannot wait! I just put the date into my cell phone so that i can remember and be at FYE to pick it up.

And yea, the Target edition of “Blackout” does exist. I purchased the last copy at my local Target last night. They only produced limited quantities, so it may be sold out where you are because of the holidays.

Wow I really hope that’s true cause that would really be awesome….but you know I really really hope they change that UGLY ASS album cover…is it just me or is that cover horrible?? When I saw it I was very disapointed. But I really hope they replace it. It would be cool if they included the Gimme More and Piece of Me videos.
