Can you believe it? Toxic was released exactly 52 weeks ago today!

The single came out on Monday, March 1st 2004. I can’t believe it’s been a year already!

I’m going to take this opportunity to say that I’m very dissapointed in the UK Do Somethin’ singles which were released here today. We got a 2 track single, and an ECD. I can’t believe that’s all we got! Where is the maxi single like every other European country got? Why would we want an ECD?

I don’t understand why they would release an ECD (with Do Somethin’ video in quicktime format) instead of a DVD. The last three singles were released with a DVD, why not this one? Did BMG decide not to spend money on making DVD’s for the single? Whatever their reasons for this release, I am extremely dissapointed !

On the plus side, Do Somethin’ was on the #1 (predicted) shelf in most stores today.

For her upcoming debut album, Nicole Richie has a few tricks up her sleeve. Nicole has been recording this album for nearly two years and the album is finally near completion. However the first single has yet to be recorded. Why? Nicole has personally asked Britney Spears to guest on the track. Britney has reportedly agreed and the two will meet sometime in March to record the song. The tentative title is, ‘Salsa Salsa,’ which is one of Nicole’s catch phrases from ‘The Simple Life’. Nicole’s album is due this summer.

If you are among one of the first British consumers to buy Curious Britney Spears (within the first few days of release,) you will qualify yourself for a chance to meet Britney. I hope none of you really took my comments seriously when I was talking about Bit Bit and Tinkerbell. I was just being silly and of course I think that Tinkerbell is very cute. Who knows? Maybe they will have a little play date together!

I just wanted to tell you that I went to a Cher concert a few months back in
Baton Rouge and she made the same comment then. It is part of her opening
act when she explains why she is quiting concerts. I guess the press just
got a hold of it now. Anyway just thought it was intresting it just now got
all this attention.
